Another neat feature is there is no need for a downstem, as this has a built-in inline stem. The stem has about 5 diffuser slots in it, which immediately forces the water to percolate and smoothen the smoke out. As the water and smoke come up, the water and any other solid gets cycled back down to the main water chamber.
